We understand that every child develops at their own pace, here are some useful tips to make the transition a little easier:
- Visit the service with your child and meet the educator/s, prior to their first day.
- Discuss what will happen at the service and reassure your child that you are coming back.
- Utilise our educator’s knowledge and advice by working with to meet your child’s needs.
- Try to keep goodbyes short – it’s important to be strong and convey a positive message.
- Reconnect at pickup by asking educators for useful questions that encourage your child to open up about their day.
